Over 40 protesters swarm federal MP’s office in Melbourne’s north

The offices of several Victorian MPs have continued to be targeted this morning as pro-Palestinian protesters embark on national action.

Federal member for Wills, Peter Khalil, says about 40 protesters showed up to his office.

“As long as it’s a peaceful protest, I’ve always supported protests as a democratic right in our system,” he told Tom Elliott.

He later revealed in a text to 3AW Mornings, protesters had returned to his office, blocking all exits.

“I spoke too soon,” he said.
