Outgoing Victorian Treasurer’s ‘grossly irresponsible’ use of funds called out

Shane McInnes has slammed outgoing Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas after it was revealed he recently spent over $72,000 on a trip to Europe.

Mr Pallas recently left his post, with Jaclyn Symes stepping into the role.

The 3AW Afternoons host said the use of public money had to change following the revelations in the Herald Sun on Tuesday.

“Something has to change,” Shane said on 3AW.

“The public is sick and tired of politicians taking advantage of Victorian and Australian tax payers.”
