‘Out of touch’: Jimmy Bartel slams decision to uphold Paul Curtis suspension

Jimmy Bartel has slammed the AFL Tribunal’s decision to uphold a ban handed to Paul Curtis over the weekend.

Curtis was originally slapped with a three-game ban for rough conduct while tackling Josh Sinn, who sustained a concussion.

After he was unsuccessful in overturning the ban at the Tribunal on Tuesday night, the Wide World of Sports host didn’t hold back in his assessment of the decision, pleading with the AFL to fix the system.

“This couldn’t be any more out of touch with people who follow this game,” he said.
