Out-of-control house fire in Carnegie
Seven Metropolitan Fire Brigade trucks are at a house fire in Carnegie which has seen an Advice message issues for surrounding suburbs.
The fire at the property on Libna Street Carnegie began just before 1.30pm and is still not under control.
An Advice message is being issued for Bentleigh East, Carnegie, Murrumbeena, Ormond, that there is no threat to the community, but residents should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and residents are advised to stay indoors to avoid smoke.
Emergency Services remain in the area.
