Opposition leader slams ‘disgraceful’ CFMEU management from Jacinta Allan

There are calls for Premier Jacinta Allan to take control following explosive allegations made against the CFMEU in recent days.

The Victorian branch of the CFMEU was put into administration on Monday, after a Nine newspapers and 60 Minutes investigation revealed dodgy dealings within the construction union.

“It’s a free for all at the CFMEU,” Jacqui Felgate said on 3AW Drive.

State opposition leader John Pesutto says the CFMEU would be taken off major constructions projects if he was in control.

“Premier Jacinta Allan knew about this wrongdoing,” Mr Pesutto said told Jacqui.

“Not only did she turn a blind eye to it, she enabled it to continue and that is disgraceful.”
