Ongoing organised crime dispute believed to be linked to recent arson attacks
Police believe the firebombing of a car dealership in Oakleigh and a supermarket in Collingwood in recent weeks are part of an ongoing dispute between two criminal groups with links to Middle Eastern organised crime entities.
Detectives from the Arson Squad as well as anti-gang squads in the Echo and Viper Taskforces are investigating at least 11 incidents dating back to June 24.
