One of Australia’s most infamous criminals returns to Pentridge Prison
The infamous Australian criminal who was flown out of a Sydney jail in a helicopter hijacked by his Russian lover has returned to Pentridge Prison, where he spent six years, after the National Trust reopened part of the prison to the public.
John Killick, who is now 81, joined 3AW Breakfast with Sly Of The Underworld on Wednesday to provide an insight into the prison he tried to escape in 1968.
“We were lucky to come out of that alive,” Killick said.
