One American pilot’s theory on Washington plane crash disaster

A current pilot thinks the “reckless” situation around a major airport in Washington could have contributed to a deadly crash between a helicopter and a passenger plane.
Everyone onboard both the American Airlines plane and the military Black Hawk helicopter is believed to have died in the tragedy.
American pilot and crash litigation expert Arthur Wolk unpacked on 3AW Breakfast how the conditions at the airport lead to difficult flying conditions.

“Allowing aircraft to fly in the vicinity of an airport as (Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport) is reckless,” he told Ross and Russ.
“To rely on someone’s vision … it is a sea of conflicting lights.”
