Ollie Wines provides clarity on heart concerns

Port Adelaide midfielder Ollie Wines thinks he can manage his recurring heart troubles after being subbed out of the clash against Sydney.

Wines had undergone surgery to prevent any further complications, but thinks the issue poses no risk to the rest of his season.

“I had a procedure pre-Christmas to fix it, and unfortunately it’s happened again,” Wines told 3AW Football.

“We go back to managing how I have for a couple of years, and we think we can do that until the end of the season.

“Perhaps I’ll look at getting the procedure done again.”
