Number of available rentals continue to fall as landlords sell up

A real estate expert says the rental crisis was years in the making as rentals in Victoria fall by over 10,000 in three months.

Stephen Dullens, says more landlords are struggling financially with more taxes and a cost of living crisis.

“There’s only so much that can be passed on by a landlord to a tenant, and at the same time, there’s only so much capacity for tenants to be able to pay,” he told Ross and Russ.
