How three novice Victorian fishermen bagged the ‘biggest tuna of the season’
Three novice fishermen in regional Victoria have bagged the biggest tuna of the season.
It’s estimated to weigh about 120 kilograms and be worth some $7000.
Sam Long was one of the trio involved in reeling it in, some 50 kilometres 0ff shore from Barwon Heads.
It was his first time deep sea fishing.
“It was really intense,” he told Neil Mitchell.
“It felt like I went 12 rounds in the boxing ring with it.”
