‘Not a surprise’: Senior fellow weighs in on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump

Senior Fellow at the United States Studies Centre, Bruce Wolpe, has weighed in on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump which has sent shockwaves around the world.

Mr Wolpe, who worked with congressional Democrats during the Obama administration, told Ross and Russ the shooting “comes as a shock, but ultimately not a surprise because of the condition of the country”.

“It’s not a happy place,” Mr Wolpe said on the state of America.
