Nick Watson pinpoints Hawthorn’s big strength as club’s unbeaten start continues

Nick Watson says Hawthorn’s flexibility across all areas of the park remains their great strength as their unbeaten start this season continues.

The Hawks accounted for Carlton in front of over 62,000 fans at the MCG on Thursday night, condemning the Blues to their second straight loss to start 2025.

Watson, who kicked two goals, told 3AW Football it was the ability of his teammates to change roles on the run that makes them so hard to play against.

“We have such flexibility as a group,” he said on 3AW.

“Everyone can go anywhere and we can enjoy, whatever happens as a group we adjust.”
