New York City is searching for a ‘rat czar’
New York City is looking for a “rat czar” with a “general aura of badassery” to combat its rat problem.
An increase in outdoor dining during the pandemic has led to an explosion in the big apple’s rodent population, prompting the search for someone with a “virulent vehemence for vermin”.
The director of rodent mitigation will be paid between US$120,000 and US$170,000.
