New polling shows Dutton could win the upcoming election as Australians suffer worst financial stress ever

New polling has found Liberal Opposition leader Peter Dutton has a high chance of winning the next federal election as cost of living pressures continue to hit hard.

Director of Red Bridge Polling Kos Samaras says the amount of financial stress Australians are under is the worst he’s ever seen as voters move away from the Albanese Labor government.

“Based on the trajectory that we’re seeing, and we’ve been seeing this all year, Labor trajectory is downhill,” he said.
