New EBA means a pay rise for Victoria’s teachers
Victorian teachers will receive a 13 per cent pay rise over the next four years after a new deal was struck with the State Government.
As part of the deal principals will receive a four percent increase annually.
The EBA will reduce the number of contract positions, with thousands to be moved onto permanent roles.
There will also be 3,000 new learning specialist positions created.
The agreement means industrial action planned by the Education Union has been called off.
