The first Australian movie made in the United States since Crocodile Dundee has just been released.

I Want To Thank The Academy filmmaker Jonathon James Williams, who is originally from Gladstone Park in Melbourne’s north, says he hopes to recreate the popularity of the 1986 film starring Paul Hogan.

“Well I really love Dundee … I just thought there was a really good opportunity to create something similar and really target all the Australian mannerisms that the world likes and to really incorporate that into a movie,” he told Jacqui Felgate and Jimmy Bartel, filling in for Ross and Russel.
