Neil Mitchell’s touching tribute to Carmel Russel

Former Mornings presenter Neil Mitchell has remembered Carmel Russel, the mother of murdered teen Natalie Russel, as someone who improved and saved lives.

Mitchell provided a platform for Carmel Russel who campaigned against the release of convicted murderer Paul Denyer.

“She made the world a better place by campaigning, one to keep Denyer in jail  … and changing the law to make it harder for these people to get out,” he told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Jacqui Felgate.
