Neil Mitchell’s listeners rally around family in desperate need of help
Neil Mitchell’s listeners have rallied around a family in desperate need of help after its youngest member was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND).
Bronte, pictured, is 10 and has juvenile MND, which is extremely rare.
She is now in a wheelchair and will progress to a motorised wheelchair, which will require a heavily-modified car to help her travel.

A fundraising page for the family has been set up here.
“I’ve got tears in my eyes, and you know how long I’ve been doing this job,” Tim Conolan, founder and CEO of TLC for Kids, told Neil Mitchell after learning about Bronte’s story.
As always, Neil Mitchell’s listeners swung into action in support of the family.
Mark offered to chip in as much as $10,000 to help modify the car, if that was needed.
Noelle lost her husband, who was also in an electric wheelchair, six months ago.
She already has a heavily-modified Kia.
“I would love to donate it to this family,” she said.
