In the wake of the release of explosive text messages between Brittany Higgins and her boyfriend David Sharaz, Neil Mitchell says there’s now “no option” but to have a public inquiry.
The Australian reports text messages between Brittany Higgins and her boyfriend David Sharaz indicate the pair planned to use senior Labor figures to pursue the allegation and claim of a cover up by the Coalition.
“Whether it happened or not she has received a payout reportedly around $2 million in taxpayer money and more evidence today suggests that the issue has been weaponised” the 3AW Mornings host said.
