Neil Mitchell says it’s time Australia got out of COVID ‘fantasy land’
Neil Mitchell says many Australians are living in “fantasy land” when it comes to COVID-19.
And he’s concerned about it.
“I’ll probably be accused of being a bedwetter … but my message is simple,” he said.
“Living with the pandemic, does not mean ignoring it.”

Professor Brendan Crabb, director and CEO of Burnet Institute, agreed.
He said there’d been a “mass national brain fade” since the emergence of Omicron.
He said he understood everybody was “over it” and he was, too.
“But we can’t just say it’s over – it’s not over,” he said.
