Neil Mitchell hits out at Daniel Andrews over refusal to keep Paul Denyer behind bars
Neil Mitchell has hit out at Premier Daniel Andrews after he ruled out supporting Liberal legislation to keep serial killer Paul Denyer behind bars.
Denyer had his parole denied last week, 30 years after killing three women, and Neil Mitchell wants to make sure the families of the victims do not have to go through the same ordeal again, and questioned why the Premier can’t take politics out of his decision.
“Smells like politics, tastes like politics, probably is bloody stupid politics,” he said.

Shadow Minister for Corrections, Brad Battin, says it’s a pig headed response from the Premier and claims he will send an email out to all MPs to help pass legislation to keep Denyer locked up.
