Neil Mitchell says those who “did the right thing” and followed Victoria’s COVID rules, or paid fines for breaches as minor as not wearing a mask, have been treated like “mugs” by Victoria Police.

“Because the police have now dropped charges against four people who had high-profile and significant breaches of COVID regulations,” the 3AW Mornings host said on Wednesday.

“Why have they dropped them? They won’t tell us.”
