Nazi salutes set to be banned in Victoria under proposed new laws

Victorians who perform a Nazi salute will face hefty fines or even jail, under proposed new laws to be introduced into parliament today.

Chair of the Anti-Defamation Commission, Dr Dvir Abramovich, says it’s been a long time coming.

“I will shed some tears of joy,” Dr Abramovich told 3AW Breakfast.
