Mystery surrounds fatal shooting

Mystery surrounds the fatal shooting of a man in Melbourne’s north.

Police say they don’t know the exact location of the shooting, but believe it may have been in the Broadmeadows/Dallas area.

The victim, who has not been formally identified, was driven by a friend to Millewa Crescent in Dallas after the shooting on Tuesday.

Police and paramedics arrived quickly after helped was called at 5.30pm, but the man died at the scne.

No arrests have been made and police are calling for information.

The victim and his friend are not known to police.
