‘Not suspicious’: Body found in Melbourne laneway

The discovery of a body in a Croydon laneway has been deemed not suspicious.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Main Street about 7.15am.

Police cordoned off the area to investigate the cause before later determining it was not suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
