Multi-car crash causes chaos on the West Gate

A crash on the West Gate Freeway caused Friday night chaos in Melbourne.

The multi-car prang saw all city-bound lanes closed at Montague Street.

If it wasn’t enough trouble being Friday night peak, plenty of Geelong supporters found it very difficult to get to the MCG for the club’s clash with Richmond.

Lanes have since re-opened.
