Motorist shot at in frightening incident in Melbourne’s south-east

A motorist has been shot at while driving in Melbourne’s south-east.

Rumour File caller ‘Shots Fired’ told 3AW Breakfast on Tuesday that a driver was shot at in a road rage incident.

Police have confirmed they’re investigating a firearms incident in Narre Warren yesterday.

They’ve been told a man was driving along Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road near Norfolk Drive at about 5pm when his vehicle was shot at.

The car was damaged, but the driver was uninjured in the frightening incident.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and police are currently undertaking a thorough search of the area.
