Motorcyclist left injured after riding down Brighton pier
A motorcyclist has been injured after allegedly speeding down Brighton Pier and crashing into a concrete fence.
Witnesses say the rider, a 39-year-old from Brunswick, was riding down the pier on a Triumph motorcycle at about 70km/hr when he lost control at 2.30am.
The skipper of a nearby vessel took him on board.
The man has since been taken to hospital with hand and leg injuries and will be interviewed by police for traffic offences.
