Artificial intelligence expert warns AI may be “the most dangerous thing humanity has ever done”.

Research associate in the centre for the future of intelligence at the University of Cambridge, Henry Shevlin, says we’re “potentially creating minds that are superior to ours” and that could either be very dangerous, or it could be “the best thing that’s ever happened to humanity”.

His comments come after King Charles told the UK’s AI Safety Summit AI risks need to be tacked with “a sense of urgency, unity and collective strength”.
