More than $12 million worth of illicit tobacco seized in Victoria
More than $12 million dollars worth of illicit tobacco has been seized in Victoria.
A joint operation involving Victoria Police and the Australian Tax Office was carried out, seizing up to seven tonnes of illicit tobacco.

Tobacco crops and kilns were located at two properties to the north and south of Shepparton.
Approximately 50,000 cigarettes, 30kg of loose-leaf tobacco and vapes and a CCTV system were seized in the process.
A 36-year-old Werribee man is expected to be charged on summons.
