Neil Mitchell has taken aim at “left-wing idiots” dropping “obscene” letters in letterboxes in Melbourne’s east.

The letters say they’re “concerned about the damage” people who are “too wealthy” are doing to society.

Neil Mitchell says it’s part of an alarming trend.

“This is becoming a trend — we had tyres let down in Toorak … we’ve had supermarkets targeted in Tasmania,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“It’s like a class warfare developing.”
