Molly Meldrum’s condition worse than first thought

Molly Meldrum is in worse condition than initially thought.

Meldrum suffered cracked ribs and a dislocated shoulder in a nasty fall in Thailand this week.

Pete Ford told Ross and John that Molly has been in and out of hospital all weekend.

‘He’s seriously crook,’ Pete said on 3AW Breakfast.

‘He has revealed to doctors there have been other falls that he’s not reported to them earlier.’

Later, Nick McCallum told Neil Mitchell Molly’s injuries also include a dislodged vertebra that went ‘awfully close’ to damaging his spine.

‘A doctor we spoke to said he was very lucky this incident didn’t leave him paralysed,’ Nick said.
