Mitch Marsh reveals he ‘squashed’ prospect of opening batting in Test team
All-rounder Mitch Marsh says he jokingly “squashed” the prospect of replacing David Warner as Australia’s opener in the Test team.
South Australia captain Nathan McSweeney will partner Usman Khawaja at the top of the order when the Aussie take on India in the first Test at Optus Stadium.
Marsh told Wide World of Sports he still loves batting at six, saying he never had any interest in shuffling up the batting order.
