Multiple GWS players are facing match suspensions and several others could be fined as a result of inappropriate behaviour at a post-season function.

Captain Tony Greene is one of several other players set to be fined, despite reportedly not being part of what took place at last month’s club event.

Seven News’ Mitch Cleary, who broke the story on Tuesday night, told Jacqui Felgate he can’t remember seeing a story like this in footy before.

“A number of players are going to be suspended or given heavy financial sanctions,” he told 3AW Drive.

“I can’t remember anything like this.”

The Age reported later on Wednesday that a blow-up doll was allegedly used as part of the skit of the event.
