Minister of Police details new protest laws aiming to stop anti-Semitism
The state government today announced a ban of protests outside places of worship, flags and symbols of known terrorist groups, face masks and coverings and the use of glue, rope, chains and locks.
Minister of Police Anthony Carbines joined 3AW Drive to detail the new protests laws which are set to be implemented in 2025.
“When we make these changes to the law, that will have an affect on the way in which people behave and protest at these rallies,” Carbines told Heidi Murphy.
