Milkman seriously injured following hit and run at Brunswick

A truck driver has been hit by his own vehicle when a thief jumped behind the wheel at Brunswick on Thursday.

The thief took off, leaving the 48-year-old man with serious injuries, but eventually ran from the vehicle after crashing it into a stationary car.

No arrests have been made.

Police are appealing for information.
