Mike shares his harrowing near-miss tale at Kallista

A 3AW Drive listener has narrowly escaped tragedy after a large gum tree snapped and fell onto the road just metres in front of his moving car at Kallista.

The Emerald-Monbulk Road has been blocked as a result.

Mike told Tom Elliott another car was coming in the other direction.

“It fell right in between us, Tom, and it was a really big gum tree,” he said.
