Midfielder George Hewett on Carlton and their concerns about the Lions

Following the win against the Demon’s last week, Carlton player George Hewett has recounted his thoughts when he first joined the team.

“I remember when I first rocked up …  I was very optimistic when we arrived,” he told Sam McClure and Matthew Lloyd.

He also discussed if the team is concerned about playing against the Lions later this week.

“You could flip it on it’s head a bit, Brisbane hasn’t played a game in three weeks, we can look at it like we’re match fit,” he said.
