Michael Jackson’s friend and doctor Conrad Murray has written a book
Michael Jackson’s friend and doctor Conrad Murray has written a book about their time together.
Mr Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter over Jackson’s death and served two years in prison, though he denied any culpability.
He told Neil Mitchell he wasn’t with Jackson at the time the prosecutors said he was.
‘He was at a rehearsal in downtown Los Angeles, I was at my cottage in Santa Monica,’ Mr Murray said.
Mr Murray said he didn’t know Jackson was abusing illicit substances in the time before his death.
‘If I had known, I wouldn’t have been in his presence,’ he said.
‘I have a great aversion to that. I do not tolerate drug addicts.’
