Coburg woman left in limbo after garbo writes off her car

A Coburg resident has been left in limbo for a week after a garbage collector wrote off her car.

Kate told 3AW’s Jacqui Felgate the driver left a note admitting fault, but despite six phone calls to Merri-bek Council she’s no closer to having her vehicle fixed.

“They basically brushed me off saying … it’s up to the contractor to get in touch with you and we don’t know when that will happen,” she said.
