Melbourne’s west impacted by over 40 instances of car crime in one day
Residents across Melbourne’s west have told of their experience with fast and calculated car break ins over the course of one day.
In Point Cook, Xavier says 10 cars were broken into overnight.
“They moved very, very quickly to check if any doors were opened, luckily we had both of our cars were locked at the time,” he told Jacqui Felgate.

Stone Hill Estate resident in Bacchus Marsh, Jack, says over 30 cars were broken into over a couple of hours on Thursday morning.
“Three weeks prior to this, we had another piece of footage and it’s another car following another hooded figure and they’re doing the same thing,” he said.
