Melbourne Water has responded after being accused on not consulting hundreds of local residents after their properties were reclassified for flood risks, raising insurance premium and lowering the values of their properties.

Minister for NDIS Bill Shorten didn’t hold back on 3AW Mornings, slamming Melbourne Water for their lack of consultation.

Melbourne Water’s Craig Dixon told Tom Elliott it was a tough time for residents, who he acknowledged were distressed at the latest development.
