Melbourne star could miss rest of the season after nasty King’s Birthday injury
Melbourne superstar Christian Petracca has suffered four broken ribs, a lacerated spleen and a small puncture to his lung in the defeat against Collingwood.
However, the issue is that Petracca returned to the field despite being in an immense amount of pain which has raised many questions around the footy community.
“He could miss the rest of the season, a lacerated spleen is at least a minimum of six weeks,” Nine Chief Football Reporter Tom Morris said on 3AW Drive.

Former Melbourne club doctor Peter Brukner said “I think the medical team looking after him did pretty good job.”
