Melbourne set for rat attack
Major hospitals, universities and older hotels in Melbourne could be set for an influx of rodents, according to Peter Taylor, General Manager of Adam’s Pest Control.
It is believed that as a result of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel works getting underway, rats and rodents will come to the surface.
“The vibration and the noise is what moves the rodents on,” Taylor told Tom Elliott.
“So we’d expect when they start with the boring machine, that would push rodents around a lot.”
Sydney is currently experiencing a plague of rats due to the amount of construction happening there as well.
