Melbourne schools fall into ‘shocking’ state of disrepair

3AW Drive has uncovered more examples of schools falling into a state of disrepair.

After Jacqui Felgate revealed the situation at Balnarring Primary School – where students have been exposed to toxic mould for weeks – other examples of “shameful” dilapidated schools have been revealed.

“There’s nothing more important than our kids getting a safe and good education,” she said on 3AW.

“Fixing classrooms isn’t the most sexy way for the government to spend money, but it is one of the most important.”
