Melbourne map illustrators hoping 2017 version captures imagination
The creators of a much-loved map of Melbourne released in 1991 are hoping a new generation will fall in love with a brand new 2017 version.
It’s currently being illustrated in full public view in a window at 45 Collins Street.
They’ll also have the original artwork on display.
Founder of the Melbourne Map Melinda Clarke told Ross and John a lot has changed in the last 26 years.
“Southern Cross (station), Docklands, Etihad (Stadium), Crown, Southbank, Fed Square, Bolte Bridge, Eureka (tower), aquarium – so many things,” Ms Clarke said.
