Templestowe College has no traditional grades, instead allowing students of differing ages to learn at the level which suits the individual student.

Speaking to Ross and John about a story in today’s Herald Sun, where the school has delivered students alpacas, drones and other items simply because they asked for them, co-principal Peter Hutton said the system is successful.

“We don’t actually have year levels, we have students from 12-years-old to 20 and they work at whatever year level is most appropriate to them,” Mr Hutton said.

“I’ve got four year 7 level students doing VCE.

“We’ve had a 15-year-old go to university.”

“This is revolutionary!” Burnso said.
