COVID-19 cases at depots wreak havoc on Melbourne’s bus network
Bus routes have been plunged into chaos across Melbourne after COVID-19 cases emerged in two staff.
Two Transdev employees have tested positive to COVID-19 at depots in North Fitzroy and Doncaster.
About 100 staff are now isolating.
A service that runs between the CBD and Deep Creek near Templestowe won’t run at all today.
Other services — including routes to Bulleen, Melbourne University, La Trobe University, the Queen Victoria Market, Fisherman’s Bend, Elsternwick and Northland — will run on reduced timetables.
Anyone catching a bus today is advised to check the PTV website or app to see if their journey will be impacted.
