Melbourne Airport has backed down on its demand for an underground terminal as part of the Airport Rail Link.

Transport strategist and urban economist, Dr Chris Hale, told Ross and Russ it’s “great news for people who use the airport”.

“It will be great for Melbourne more broadly,” Dr Hale said.
